A whole range of hardness

Of all the thermal spraying processes, atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) offers you the widest range of options. As we only process the functional coating locally, the thermal strain on your component is minimal. So we can even coat with plastics or compound materials by cooling the component to a suitable temperature. With this procedure, you can choose practically any metallic and ceramic coating material you want.

In the plasma flame, which gets up to about 20.000 °C, we process even refractory ceramics or their compounds into extremely hard, wear-resistant coatings. These are particularly suitable for sealing seats and rollers, as well as for electrical or thermal insulation. In aggressive atmospheres, they also protect your components reliably against corrosion. These kinds of wear and corrosion protective coatings are already the standard in the paper and textiles industries.
