Speed is the essence

With flame speeds of up to eight times the speed of sound, our high velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF) spraying process really gets the particles moving. At up to 750 m/s, the coating materials in powder form collide with the surface to be coated. This high kinetic energy produces a coating of very high bond strength, homogenous and dense, with a high level of thermal and mechanical resistance.

With precisely adjustable system parameters, we guarantee surfaces in reliably reproducible quality. Typical thicknesses of our HVOF coatings are 0.1 to 0.3 mm.

Your advantages at a glance:

  • very dense coating
  • very hard coatings (depending on coating material)
  • typical coating thickness 0.1 – 0.3 mm (depending on the material, thicker coatings are possible)
  • very good corrosion protection
  • very good wear protection
