Distortion-free, fit for heavy duty

Whether it is for the regeneration of expensive components like drive shafts or bearings, for the optimisation of wear and corrosion protection, or for the repair of injection moulding and forming tools, with laser cladding we can give the edges of your stressed components the properties they need to meet the challenges of daily use.

From a wide range of materials in powder form, we select the optimal filler material for your requirements and fuse it layer by layer onto the substrate using a laser beam. Because the energy feed is limited to a 1-2 mm spot, your component and the working material are exposed to only minimal thermal stress – unlike in all conventional welding processes. This practically distortion-free treatment of your workpieces is a decisive advantage of this process. The cladding material, metallurgically fused with minimal dilution, stays permanently bonded to the substrate, even under extreme strain. Their high density and consistent reproducibility make these coatings a reliable key to success in challenging processes. Special processing heads also allow internal contours to be coated.
