Robust protection against rust
Our galvanic zinc plating procedure provides reliable protection against corrosion, both for your mass-produced articles and for your individual steel parts. This economical and widespread process creates a thin yet robust surface coating. With a range of blue and black passivation techniques, we can increase your products' resistance to rust in accordance with standard specifications.
We finish your small parts, like screws, with a galvanic zinc coating as bulk goods using a barrel process. Larger components are zinc-plated on flexible racks in electrolytic baths. We customise coating thickness and passivation to your specific application so that the surface features are exactly right for your particular process conditions. Typical protective coatings are temperature-resistant and contour-true with thicknesses of 8-12 µm, 15-18 µm or 20-25 µm. Our chromium-VI-free passivation layers considerably improve the corrosion resistance of the zinc-plated surfaces and are themselves RoHS-compliant.
