Made-to-measure coating without electricity

Chemical nickel coatings are one of the most interesting procedures in mechanical engineering. Precise down to the micron and true to the exact contours of the whole workpiece, they are clearly superior to all other electroplating procedures. Their high corrosion and wear resistance and their resistance to chemicals make them the perfect functional enhancement for almost all of your metallic workpieces.
The chemical-nickel process is an electroless plating technique that guarantees absolutely even coating thickness without raised edges, regardless of how complex the geometry of your components is, and even in bores and cavities. We have precise control over the coating thickness, so no finishing is necessary. Depending on the strain your components need to hold up under, we can apply coatings from just a few microns thick up to 80 µm. With subsequent heat treatment we can increase the hardness of the coating from 450 – 500 HV to up to 900 HV. The coating is lead- and cadmium-free, in accordance with EU norms.
